Find you a bar soap that you can use for your hair and leave ALL the other beauty stuff behind – this isn't a fashion show and the scented stuff will only attract insects. Toothbrush and toothpaste and a hairbrush – bring a bandana or two if you have extra long hair.
Clothing – loose-fitting cottons – it won't hurt you to wear the same pants for a few days – socks can be dried and re-worn – underclothes I leave to you. Bring plastic bags to keep the dirties away from the cleans. A pair of flip-flops are handy for wearing around camp and gives you a chance to dry your real shoes.
Food – You didn't mention if you're expected to provide all your own meals. I doubt it given the circumstances mentioned. It does look like you'll want a supply of snacks, though. Avoid chocolate as it melts. Bring stuff that has some substance to it, like the granola bars. They'll fill you up better.
A spare rain poncho – some extra trash bags – toilet paper – female necessities, if applicable – cold/allergy meds – towel(which doubles as a pillow by the way) – Flashlight (the crank-style are pretty handy and don't require batteries) – ZipLoc baggies for as much as possible – baby wipes (for cleaning and a spot "shower" – but get the unscented only) – sewing kit – spare shoelaces – extra bandana or two – sunglasses – sunscreen – bug repellant

That sounds awesome.
First, pack what YOU need and use everyday, to the minimum. Toothbrush/paste, MINIMAL hair stuff, MINIMAL face stuff. Go thru your bathroom and just look. Gather all the things you use daily and start to take stuff away that isnt a top priority.
Next pack some granola bars or something of that sort. BUT ONLY ENOUGH FOR YOU. That sounds cruel, but if you can only have a certain amount of space, thats life. The food should be high in fiber, also high protein and calories dont hurt. Yes, high calories will keep you going if you are hiking. Snikers makes a Marathon bar that really works for that stuff.
Also pack a small flashlight. An LED one works pretty good for lighting small areas, anything else you would need like a small battery powered latern almost. I dont know how good you are with knives, but thats always a good bet. –>!!!BUT!!!<– CHECK IF YOU CAN BRING SOMETHING LIKE THAT BEFORE YOU TRY!!!
Good luck and have fun.

Depending on the conditions
Toilet Paper
Bandaids and neosporin
Matches and a fire starting kit – look for how to make fire starters they are easy, maybe a can of Sterno you can get at the grocery store.
A small pot to cook in and something to eat with.
a Knife. This is to cut food, rope, scrape wood shavings to start a fire.
A trash bag- can hold water and if you poke holes in it, it makes a great rain poncho.
A canteen or something to carry water.
Granola bars or some snack food for energy.
Toothbrush
Small flashlight with batteries
a watch and you can get a little compass that pins to your clothing.
Extra clothing for the weather if it is cold. Extra socks!!
Maybe another pair of shoes if they are light weight, or a pair that dries fast like Crocs
Keep you back pack as light as possible, and use the waist strap. You should carry the load on your wais as much as possible not your shoulders. Look up some backpacking sites. The Boy Scouts has a pretty good site for camping but it is a long list

3 days, shoudn't be too hard.
enough clothing for 4 days (including what you will wear in)
clothing should include at least one pair of pants and a rain jakcet/poncho
a mess kit and utensils (Walmart has em cheap in their camping section)
food if it's not provided
pocket knife (if you school allows it)
personel hygene supplies (including soap and at least 1 towell and 2 washcloths)
sunglasses
sunscreen (high spf rating)
bug repellant (your probobly too young to use a high DEET spray)
I am probobly forgetting some stuff, but most sporting goods stores will have a list as will organazations like the BSA and GSA. Be sure to complie your own list if you plan on going camping again.
Also, you mention a 2man tent. As an experience camper (and owner of a few 2 man tents), I have found from experience that you should always take off 1 or 2 from the max occupation of the tent to account for gear and free movement.
