Are there any really good places to go camping in New Mexico or Southern Colorado?

There are some really nice places in the mountains on the west side of the state, near Quemado, Reserve, in the Gila wilderness.

Yes i live in Deming,New Mexico and there are great spots all over ,but up in sliver city you can camp any where on the colorado river.Really cool spots .There's actually ppl that live on the river (hippies)Check out http://www.travelnewmexico.com there you'll find lots of places.good luck and have fun.

pretty much the entire area is covered with campgrounds both private and public. In my opinion this part of the US is one of the most beautiful i know of. good luck and enjoy
