Which is the best place to live – Sacramento, Denver, or Boise?
We are going to move in a little less than a year and are not sure where we want to go. It is important for us to find a place that is good for raising a family with lots of outdoor activities close by – particularly skiing. Sacramento, Denver, and Boise are at the top of our list, but we aren’t sure which one to choose or what part of each city to look at. Has anyone lived in one, two or all three of these places? What input and/or advice do you have for us?

I have lived in Denver for a few years and have been to Sacramento, so I can say that Denver is a really nice place to raise a family, particularly on the south or west side of town. Highlands Ranch, Cherry Creek, Littleton are great areas to name a few with great schools, safe neighborhoods, near the mountains. Pro Sports teams and lively downtown make it pretty fun too.
