Where is the better camp grounds for teen camping?

Posted in Camp Grounds  by admin on December 20th, 2008

you didn't list where you are…. try local state parks… most have lakes and usually a place for basketball and larger open areas for football or frisbee… along with fishing (watch to be sure if you need a license).. some even have boat rentals…

WHAT ARE some good michigan camp grounds ?

Posted in Camp Grounds  by admin on December 17th, 2008

some that rent campers to sleep in?

There are probably some campgrounds that rent campers or most RV places will rent campers and motor homes.

The State of Michigan modern campgrounds would be a good choice. The website below contains lots of information. Along with mini cabins there are also Yurts and Teepees.

looking for seasonal work in camp grounds, south in the winter north in the summer?

Posted in Camp Grounds  by admin on December 15th, 2008

we live in our motorhome and love to travel

I worked in Yellowstone National park for Xantera parks and resorts and was the best time of my life. You can live in your RV in the special emploee RV park or live in the emploee lodgeing.
You can take your meals in the employee dineing room or cook your own in your RV. Xantera manages almoast all of the National parks Hotels Cabins Cabins and resturants. They offered a position at Everglades National park for the winter but I had to go back to school. also the General stores are managed by a different company( Delaware North Parks Services)

Camp grounds in the Houston Area?

Posted in Camp Grounds  by admin on December 13th, 2008

My girlfriend and I would like to go camping one weekend, maybe another couple to if they'd like a little weekend get away.

Anyone aware of some camp grounds near the Houston area?

No where too outdoorsy. I had in mind cabins, indoor plumbing, lakes, etc.

I do not know ANYTHING about camping or boy scouting etc. so I have no intentions on pitching tents, starting fire with two rocks, or anything like that.

I had in mind a cabin in the woods WITH running water, showers, bed, etc.

If anyone knows of a Camping area in the Houston area that feels like camping but without being completely at the mercy of the woods please let me know, and include a websight if they have one.

And possibly a price per couple would be nice too.
