Find you a bar soap that you can use for your hair and leave ALL the other beauty stuff behind – this isn't a fashion show and the scented stuff will only attract insects. Toothbrush and toothpaste and a hairbrush – bring a bandana or two if you have extra long hair.
Clothing – loose-fitting cottons – it won't hurt you to wear the same pants for a few days – socks can be dried and re-worn – underclothes I leave to you. Bring plastic bags to keep the dirties away from the cleans. A pair of flip-flops are handy for wearing around camp and gives you a chance to dry your real shoes.
Food – You didn't mention if you're expected to provide all your own meals. I doubt it given the circumstances mentioned. It does look like you'll want a supply of snacks, though. Avoid chocolate as it melts. Bring stuff that has some substance to it, like the granola bars. They'll fill you up better.
A spare rain poncho – some extra trash bags – toilet paper – female necessities, if applicable – cold/allergy meds – towel(which doubles as a pillow by the way) – Flashlight (the crank-style are pretty handy and don't require batteries) – ZipLoc baggies for as much as possible – baby wipes (for cleaning and a spot "shower" – but get the unscented only) – sewing kit – spare shoelaces – extra bandana or two – sunglasses – sunscreen – bug repellant
to carry for a few miles into the woods to set up camp, not drive in and carry 2 feet, what is the best tent to take with you that is light weight, durable, between 100-300 dollars, and 2-3 person. And what elese could you recommend to go with this tent.
Think "Weight" – small " geodome style tent ( that can freestand – staking in rocky terrain is a challenge) – quite a few these days to choose from.
Good quality frame backpack- I always liked the external frames myself.
Rain parka that can cover you and the pack while hiking. Quality Holofil or similar ( man-made) sleeping bag – still insulates when wet unlike down. (make sure it has double zipper guards and check that the stitching doesn't go through the inside layer- causes heat loss)
Primus Lp camp stove – numerous models to look at ( see link).
Lightweight camp stove/utensil kit.
First Aid kit
Emergency flares – I like the self contained units.
Survival pocket blanket – can do a lot of things with this and it's really lightweight.
Small roll of Duct tape.
Matches sealed from water – numerous small packs.
Leatherman tool.

The key word in your question is also the key word in the answer…..”BEST”. What ever works best in any of the mountainous states in the lower 48 states will work best in Alaska as well. Buy name brand products with good reputations and good warranties and head for the woods. Alaska is a unique state, but it does not require unique equipment that can’t be found anywhere but here. There are four seasons here just as there are in most other parts of the North American continent and equipment selected for the appropriate seasons will be just as applicable here as it will in any other typical climate in the continental states.
