ok me and my friends just pulled out of a parking lot and as soon as we hit the curb a cop pulls us over my friend had his seat belt on and still got a ticket i was in the back without one and still got a ticket is that fair? because it does make sense never once until today did i get a ticket for not having my seat belt on in the back and ideas? the law shows this

Seat belts must be worn, as follows:

All passengers in the front seat of a motor vehicle must wear a seat belt [Section 1229-c (2) and (3), NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law].
All children under the age of sixteen (16) must wear a seat belt in the back seat NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law]. Children from birth through age six are required to ride in an appropriate child restraint system.
All children under the age of 16 are required to be buckled up when traveling in recreation vehicles, mobile homes and campers if they are equipped with seat belts.

Every occupant, regardless of age or seating position, of a motor vehicle being operated by the holder of a Class-DJ Learner Permit, a Limited Class-DJ Driver License must be restrained by a safety device.

We also want to know about recreation. Are there places to camp in the summer? How hot does it get in the summer? And what neighborhoods are good to live in. We want an older house with a yard for the dog and plenty of parking for 2 vehicles, 1 5th wheel trailer and a couple of motorcycles. But we don't want to pay alot. Can't afford to til we get settled. Will have money from the sale of our home to get settled and put down on a house. Would buy a house if we find the right one. My husband works construction, has 30 plus years experience. Licensed Contractor. I have 30 plus years experience in Customer Service mostly Management. What are our chances of getting good jobs with good pay? We need to make at least 40K together. What are our chances of this? Lot's of questions, but, we want to be sure we are making the right decision. Thanks!!

If you want to have a large property, you are going to have to live in an older neighborhood probably closer to the strip. The newer homes are on the outskirts of town. I live in the northwest side and love it because it is higher than the city and cooler in the summer. It depends on how much money you plan on spending for a house. Prices continue to decline because they went up so high and will continue to decline for the next few years acording to the experts. Yes lots of good places to camp but probably not in the summer unless you go up in the mountains it is too hot. It should be no problem making 40k together that is not difficult at all. Lots of stuff on line. The main newspaper is the Reeves Journal and you can find them on line with everything you need. From about Sept till now, the weather is very nice not hot and is usually beautiful. It can get 30 or below some days but not usually. Very hot in the summer avg 100 plus and sometimes more during hotest period. It is a vibrant city with lots of activity.

hovercraft are in existence being used by the military and for recreation. they are cheaper to build and buy, can be designed for one person or large as a bus. uses less gasoline than an automobile. no worry of potholes or hydroplaning or hitting small animals. you wont need to buy a car and a boat when a hovercraft will go straight from the street to the water. we are in the space age and still tethered to wheeled vehicles. let's fly!
hovercraft and speed laws can be modified. i've seen the military craft flying down the gulf over 70mph.

Hovercrafts are not more efficient than wheeled vehicles. It is like comparing apples to oranges. Each has advantages and disadvantages. Yes the hovercraft is amphibious, but since it is riding above the surface on air, there are no brakes and you are subjected to winds just like an airplane!. That means if you are flying down the road in a crosswind, you have to fly sideways to stay on the road. Also, all roads have a "crown' on them for rain runoff. The hovercraft will naturally seek the lower point; so you are always sliding off the side of the road. How do I know these things? Because I have been making and piloting (small) hovercrafts for over 30 years, and the last time I took one down a road, I took 3 mailboxes with me!
Hovercrafts ARE awesome, but they will not replace the wheeled vehicle.
